BEGINNING JULY 1, THE OHIO ATTORNEY GENERAL’S CHARITABLE LAW SECTION WILL PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH BINGO APPLICATIONS AND INSPECT BINGO SITES
An exciting reorganizational plan for the bingo community launches July 1. The Ohio Attorney General’s Charitable Law Section is reorganizing its bingo operations to offer a more streamlined approach that will reduce confusion for the bingo community. For many years, the Section contracted with the Ohio Lottery to handle bingo applications and site visits. As of July 1, those operations will move back to the Charitable Law Section under a “one-stop-shopping” approach for all of your bingo questions and concerns. Lottery staff is wrapping up their activities. After July 1, direct all questions to the Charitable Law Section at 800-282-0515.
The 2014 Charitable Bingo Application is NOW available and MUST be submitted online (paper applications are no longer accepted). In order to continue to conduct bingo and instant pull tabs after December 31, 2013, the application and ALL required supporting documents MUST be submitted by December 31,2013.
